Happy Children`s Day

Days before June 1, our students were already thinking about what to expect on this year's Children's Day. Then it was finally here, the 1.6. The children entered our school in a good mood in beautiful weather with their backpacks packed. After a short welcome and a hearty breakfast, we set off in two large buses to the KiEZ in Schneeberg to spend a day full of fun and games. A big children's day party with the motto "Glück auf der Steiger kommt" ("Luck on the Steiger is coming") was waiting for the students. There was plenty to discover and experience at over 30 activity and food stands: Gemstone digging, barbecuing baked bread, horseback riding, handicrafts, face painting and many other hands-on activities put a smile on everyone's face. Our children found the giant bubble balls and the many bouncy castles really cool, where everyone could really let off steam. Especially brave children visited the crawling zoo with snakes and tarantulas and let the animals sit on their hands. But even the most beautiful day passes once, so after lunch we went back to school happy with many great impressions. We are already looking forward to the next Children's Day.
