We were shown what equipment was used and how the miners went to the toilet underground. We walked along long tunnels and found gems that we were allowed to keep. Although the inside of a mine was very interesting, we were looking forward to the daylight and warmer temperatures in the mineral museum. What impressed us most there was how stones are sawn open. On the outside a stone looks rather inconspicuous and boring, but on the inside great colors and patterns can be seen. After the many impressions we had a warm lunch and the exciting excursion was already over. Good luck!
